Why is orthodontics important?

The alignment of our teeth contributes for us to be confident and uninhibited in company. The effectiveness of orthodontics is increased by the treatment being started in childhood. 

Orthodontics is not only a matter of aesthetics, but also facilitates the proper cleaning of our teeth, which is the primary prerequisite of the prevention of periodontal diseases. With orthodontic treatment, further periodontal diseases can be prevented. Therefore, it can be considered as a preventive treatment. 

Our specialists are able to restore an abnormal bite and the aesthetic and functional role of teeth with orthodontic appliances.

To “charm” tangled teeth in order, variable aesthetic or complex orthodontic treatments may be required. With these treatments, we aim to preserve and beautify our patients’ own teeth.

For our adult patients, it may be necessary to replace missing teeth with a bridge or an implant. For successful replacements, existing teeth can be adjusted into the desired position using orthodontic appliances.
