Implantation

We determine the necessity of dental implants during preliminary consultation and diagnosis establishment. The treatment plan includes the placement of the implant and the implementation of subsequent prostheses.

Why is implantation important?

A condition assessment with 3-D X-ray diagnostic support is performed by prosthodontist.

This assessment includes the measurement of the height, width and density of the bones. Occasionally, digitally designed templates will guide the optimal placement of the implants.

The implantation of a dental implant is performed under local anaesthesia, painlessly. The intervention usually takes 1-2 hours, but this may vary for each unique case. The healing time of the implantation varies; it usually takes 3-4 months. In ideal conditions, immediate loading can be also considered.

In some cases, gum shaping and/or bone grafting may be necessary; both require longer healing time.
